Why does my mail use a different town name?
ZIP areas follow delivery routes, so a ZIP can carry a neighboring town's name. The result card shows the name the mail uses.
Can the finder be wrong near a ZIP border?
Yes, by a few houses: the Census areas are drawn from blocks, not single addresses. Near a border, check your street on the town page.
How do I find the full ZIP+4 code?
The last four digits come from the Postal Service. Its ZIP Code lookup by address on usps.com gives all nine.
